and installed 128G Ram
Install the board in riser slot 2

Hi @AnserJim
The 662525-001 Riser board is a X16 wide module and in DL380p Gen8 the expansion slot that supports X16 wide module is Slot #1. Hence its throwing up an error 241 - "Expansion Riser Board Detected in Incorrect slot".
If you shift the card to Slot 1 you should no more see the error.

(I am using DL380p gen8 not DL380 gen8)

I using 662524-001 riser card in Slot 1 can i move it to Slot2
I am install a pcie to nvme card there

Sorry, it was a typo, my above post was with respect to DL380p Gen8 only.
Refered doc link :-https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/c04123238?jumpid=in_lit-psnow-red (pg no 5)
662524-001 is supported in 1st and 2nd slot I believe. (you can try once)
