Help: UPS T1500 INTL - Gen 1 does not power on by itself after power is restored!
UPS T1500INTL - Gen1 works normally, there is a problem when the power is cut off, the UPS works until the battery runs out and turns off. After the power is restored, the UPS still charges the battery but does not turn on the power by itself, must press the ON button on the UPS to turn on the UPS power.
I want to know is it because of the design of the UPS or the UPS has a problem?
Thank you!

Re: Help: UPS T1500 INTL - Gen 1 does not power on by itself after power is restored!
Hi,
As per the user guide, page# 10, After the UPS is connected to a power outlet, the UPS enters Standby mode.
I believe, after the power is restored, its like connecting the UPS to power outlet and it stays in Standby mode.
I could be wrong because I have not worked on these UPS models.
Thank You!

Re: Help: UPS T1500 INTL - Gen 1 does not power on by itself after power is restored!
Turning the UPS on or off after power is restored is a basic and default feature of most popular UPSs.
But this Gen 1 UPS does not have that feature, it is turned off by default.
After consulting and learning from many sources of information, we found that this Gen 1 product has very little information and even HPE does not have support software, the software only supports Gen 2 and later.
This Gen 1 product was made probably for testing, and used by users to test its products. Very disappointing.
Thanks for your feedback!

Re: Help: UPS T1500 INTL - Gen 1 does not power on by itself after power is restored!
Good day!
Here are a few insights, that might help find the root cause
>> Some UPS models are designed to remain in a standby state after a power outage until the power button is pressed. This is done intentionally to prevent automatic power restoration, as it can be risky if there are any electrical issues or surges when the power comes back on.
>> Check the configuration settings of your UPS to see if there is an option to enable or disable automatic power restoration. Some UPS units have configurable settings that allow you to define the behavior after a power outage.
>> There might be a problem with the UPS itself. It could be a malfunctioning internal component or a firmware issue that is preventing automatic power restoration. If you suspect a hardware or firmware problem, it's best to contact the support team for further assistance.
Hope this helps!
