Re: HP DL380 Gen 10 Poor Performance
Hello,
Please refer to section "Performance" of the HPE Smart Array SR Gen10 User Guide for settings pertaining to performance from the array controller.
If this is not much help, then it would be recommended to log a support case so that and HPE Support engineer reviews the logs to identify possible causes and to provide a solution to the situation.
Regards,

Re: HP DL380 Gen 10 Poor Performance
Dear Team,
i have followed your suggestions of increasing the read write cache ratio to > 75% Read Ratio,
the perfomance of the sql queries has increased significantly,
the queries was taking minutes, and now its seconds,
but i am still concerned that i am seeing IOPS with 30ms,
i will attach the image
i am concenred that it might be due to the HDDs, any idea how i can test the HDDs while they are on raid, to double check vendor specs to see if my hard disks are not operating as expected

Re: HP DL380 Gen 10 Poor Performance
Hello,
It can been seen that the directions from the user guide, though providing increase in performance, there are some queries yet to be addressed.
Performance could be influenced by factors such as what controller is installed, the type of hard drives, the type of caching on the controller, using of disks for caching, usage of I/O accelerators, settings in BIOS as per the needs of the application(s) in question, installed memory etc.
Though there is no hardware failure in this instance, but to have a better counsel on this issue, it is recommended to log a support case at the HPE Support Center portal, discuss this through with HPE engineers to have clarity.
