HP ilo advanced for ML350 Gen10s

This cost ~$350 and all I really need is the **bleep** email alerts. Since they have depreciated(or it's not supported) the event notifier on the ML350 Gen10. This seems pretty off.

Have 8 servers, so cost is a little less than 3k. But still..I just need the Email. These servers are not being pushed to their limits, it's a straightforward setup.

HP has the agentless management, but we are not utilizing HP Oneview ($) or HP SIM. Any work around, or other servers that don't charge 300 to bounce an email when a notification goes off? Possibly a trap monitoring solution that is .5-1k per year? How easy is SIM, worth it to configure?

I have a freebie SNMP trap monitor that just lists trap in a large list. it sucks, but it's come in handy. Not reliable as I need to sort through it by hand and eye

As far as I understand to use Agentless Management Services (AMS), one need not necessarily use HPE OneView etc. You may try the iLO AlertMail functionality.

You may try the AMS as well. You may refer to Adding SNMP Alert Destinations.
