hp pmp tuning
dear sirs,
I have two UPS R3000 and few servers DL380G4 with two power supplies.
How I can tune it through Power Management Pack for normal shutdown and restart if I have power failure ?
Should connect the PS to different UPS for normal work of PMP ?
BR,
Efim.

Re: hp pmp tuning
Are the UPS model R3000 XR or just R3000? Are you suggesting setting up power protection for the servers using redundant UPS (2 R3000 XR)? Today, only HP Rack and Power Manager application support this type of configuration. If you don't plan for a redundant UPS setup but rather split the power protection into 2 separate groups of servers with each group protected by one R3000 XR UPS than I would recommend HP Power Manager. If you are not sure how to install all the software pieces for this, just post your question here.
