Hi Experts !

We are planning to upgrade windows server from 2016 to WinServer2022  can it is supported by HP ProLiant DL380 G7

2.40 gigahertz Intel Xeon E5620

1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache
12288 kilobyte tertiary memory cache
64-bit ready
Multi-core (4 total)
Hyper-threaded (8 total)

As per this chart, Windows 2022 is not supported on DL380 G7.

Hi  Sir,

As per chart Windows Server 2016 Standard Edition is also not mentioned ,but running WinServer2016 Std since 2019 without any issue.

Hi,

You are right, but what the matrix page means is "Certified and tested on HPE Servers".

You may install any OS but HPE has not tested all of the OS available.
