hp Proliant DL580 Cold boot issues
Hello.
i'm using a DL580 G7 proliant server.
I use several pci express 1x board where the pci express interface is done using a FPGAfor custom application.
The system typically works fine, but, sometime, at the first power on (cold start) one or more cards are not recognized by the Bios.
My question is if there is any options in the bios options to delay the pci express scan to provide time to the FPGA to correctly be loaded.
Tks

Re: Query: hp Proliant DL580 Cold boot issues
Hello,
There are apparently no such settings in RBSU to prolong the POST. It is recommended to check if the cards are properly seated.. You may reseat them to ensure that it is seated correctly.. Also check if the cards are receiving sufficient power so that they are recognized during POST.
Regards,

Re: hp Proliant DL580 Cold boot issues
Warning! This system board does not support the power requirements of the installed processor. The processor will be run at a reduced frequency, which will impact system performance.
Help me for this..
