Hello,

You may first try clearing the server's NVRAM.

  • To do so, power off the server and remove the power cable from the power supply.
  • Remove the access panel and identify the system maintenance switch on the system board.
  • You may refer to item 34 on page 86, figure 'System board components' of the "HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen9 Server Maintenance and Service Guide" for identifying it.
  • Set switch 6 on the system maintenance switch to on position, close the access panel and power on the server.
  • You will see a message that a system maintenance switch has been turned and to power off the server and revert its position.
  • Then power off the server, remove the power cable from the power supplies and then revert the switcfh 6to off position.

Power on the server and check if the issue is resolved.

If the issue persists, reduce the server to base configuration.

  • This involves having only the processors installed and one, known working memory module for each installed processor, removing all other components and power on the server. If the server is able to power on successfully, then add one component at a time and power on for isolating the issue.
