I'm trying to find some way to monitor our servers hardware status. Like fan speed, temperature etc.
We have a lot of HP servers G9, G10, running windows Servers, and ESX.
My requirement is to monitor and email the fan seep , temperature every 5 hours interval. Gone through some scripts , HPE site cmdlets however could get the same.
Is anyone have a script to monitor and email notification , will be a great help. Thanks in Advance .

SolutionHi,
Have you tried AlertMail in ILO 5 and it will send the notification if there is any failure events (drive, controller, Network, etc)
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00074744en_us ( Page 365)
Or use HPE Infosight for multiple servers.
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00111480en_us&docLocale=en_US
If you are looking for emails every 5 hours interval, then lets see if any community folks have a script.
Thanks

Re: HPE iLo fan and temperature monitor
Hi,
You can try iLO AlertMail, this will enables user to configure iLO to send alert conditions detected independently of the host operating system to one or more email addresses.
iLO AlertMail messages include major host system events that appear in the IML.
For example, if a fan failure occurs, an event is recorded in the IML and an email message with the details is sent to the configured email addresses.
Refer below document for more information:-
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-a00026111en_us
Also you can use ILO RESTful Interface Tool.
The RESTful Interface Tool (iLOREST) is a command-line interface that allows you to manage Hewlett Packard Enterprise products that take advantage of RESTful APIs.
For this release of the tool, you can manage HPE Gen9 servers running iLO 4 version 2.10 and later and Gen10 servers running iLO 5 version 1.20 and later through iLO RESTful APIs
You can install the tool on your computer for remote use or you can install the tool locally on a server with a Windows OS or Linux OS. In addition to using the tool manually to execute individual commands, you can create scripts to automate tasks.
