I noticed yesterday on an ups HP R/T3000 G5 HV INTL with product number Q1L87A and serial number **confidential info erased** that it does not cold start.
At these UPSs ,when the on/off button pressed and held for some seconds (without having connected the power supply ) then the Ups after the typical beep sound (all three leds flashing) does an internal check (green sin wave icon flashing) and then goes into inverter mode from the batteries (green and orange icons flashing). The problem with this particular ups is that after a few seconds from the beep it shuts down.
has anyone faced the same problem?

SolutionI forgot to mention that in the on/off settings the cold start setting was enable!
After 2 hours of looking to see if there was any discontinuity in the operation of the relays at the start up (connecting the power plug) I thought maybe there was a glitch in the microcontroller( stm32f101) or mcu memory and so I changed the setting to disable, turned off the ups then turned it back on and changed the setting back to enable. It seems that the problem is fixed and the ups is doing cold start normally.
