HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 562SFP+ firmware

The HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 562SFP+ firmware is not there.  Is there any way to reprogram the firmware? Thanks.

On the iLO, I see the firmware is NA.

You can try to Re-Seat the Card.

Meanwhile, please let us know :
> What is the OS installed?
> What is the current Firmware and Driver installed?
> How Many other Cards are installed.
> Is the AMS installed? If not, please download and install the latest AMS from the below Link :

> please select the operating system and download the latest AMS and install.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I am using unbuntu on this server. From the iLO, I see the firmware is N/A. Previously, I was trying to update the firmware with a intel firmware. The update failed and I think the old firmware is removed. 

There is only one 10G NICs. The other NIC is the integrated Broadcom BCM5719 Gigabit NIC.

I will install the AMS and the try to install the firmware. Will let you know the result.

The AMS is runnining on Unbuntu.  What does "> Then try to update the Firmware." mean? Install the "firmware-nic-intel-1.27.30-1.1.x86_64.rpm"? I have tried to install the rpm, but failed again. Thanks.

Please try to update firmware using Offline method 
Through SPP Interactive mode.

If the Issue still persists, we would request you to Log a case with HPE Support Team.

Hi,

Thank you for the response.

Currently, I am using Gen9 on this DL380 server. Is it ok to install a Gen11 SPP? I see the Gen 9 SPP needs some authentication to download.

Hello, 

Please use Gen9 SPP, do not use Gen 11 SPP.
Below is the last available SPP for Gen 9

The Unit should be under Valid Contract to download the SPP.
