HPE Moonshot Chassis Manager 2.0 Chassis Controller Firmware

Hello, everyone,
I tried to update the chassis controller from my Moonshot1500 with the file Moonshot_CM2_CC_03.20.bin (103 KB) via my onboard admin. But I got an error message. The same is with version Moonshot_CM2_CC_03.19.bin (101 KB). I tried the version Moonshot_CM2_CC_03.14S.bin (106 KB) again and it worked. Are the two files perhaps wrong?

Firmware flash by user <user1>: Unknown file type given:<url>.

Explanation
This is part of firmware flash initiated by user. Userprovided the wrong firmware component to flash.

The only thing I can suggest is to verify the SHA256 hash value.

Hello and thanks for the answer,
I compared the SHA256 hash value with a tool after the download and that was correct.

You can see that in the follow picture:

Maybe the bin file on the download page is wrong and someone from HPE can try and update it on a Moonshot Chassis 2.0 ?

Maybe someone else has another idea ?

May be the bin file is corrupt or there could be some other issue.

I would suggest to log a case with HPE Support to get this rectified.

HPE has now made version 3.20(A) (6 Dec 2022) available in the Support Center. This version worked perfectly for me and I solved the problem myself.
