So, I'm new here, I just recently purchased an HP Proliant DL380P Gen8 used and I am having this problem. I get a firmware error whenever I try and boot it from an bootable drive loaded with an ISO. The solution to this problem maybe totally obvious and I just don't know, or my server maybe broken. I did update the ilo4 firmware and the bios firmware to their latest versions, but nothing else beyond that. Any help is appriecated!

Re: HPE Proliant DL380P Gen8 Boot Problem
Hi,
Is this an issue with Gen8 server or with Proxmox?
Here are some troubleshooting guides for Gen8 servers.
