I can't activate the cache of my P822 controller
I can't activate the cache of my P822 controller (attached image in link bellow).
I have the battery module working, but the SSA does not have the options to configure the cache (attached image in link bellow).
Please, can anyone help me.

Re: I can't activate the cache of my P822 controller
Hello,
It may be required that the Array Diagnostics Utility (ADU) logs needs to be reviewed to isolate the issue. Please contact HPE Support at the HPE Support Center web portal.

Re: I can't activate the cache of my P822 controller
Follow the alert screen.
I will be using my controller with an HP StorageWorks Ultrium 3000 SAS tape drive.
That's why I need to enable the controller cache

Re: I can't activate the cache of my P822 controller
Greetings!
There are no physical drives installed in the server, so no logical drives hence no option to configure cache.
If you want to test the cache, please install drives, configure logical drive to test.

Re: I can't activate the cache of my P822 controller
Yes I understand, but I will not use the controller with a physical drive. I will be using it with an HP StorageWorks Ultrium 3000 SAS tape drive .
In the previous error message, it says that if I am going to use as a host controller for tape devices only, I should ignore the warning.

Re: I can't activate the cache of my P822 controller
I need the cache because I'm going to use an LTFS mapping, and HPE LTFS can't map the tape as the HBA driver doesn't support "Required transfer size (512kb)" (image bellow)

Re: I can't activate the cache of my P822 controller
Greetings!
I wanted to check the alerts because I thought there may be cache related alerts. But after seeing the screenshots, I understand that there is no physical drive connected and you just want to connect standalone HP StorageWorks Ultrium 3000 SAS tape drive.
Could you please ensure if the controller is running latest driver and firmware as per the OS installed?

Re: I can't activate the cache of my P822 controller
Hi @NVIDIAMD
Could you share more details about your setup such as whether you have the FBWC cache module installed, the firmware version of your P822, and what exactly you see in SSA, so we can better understand and address the issue?
I kindly request you to create a new post.
Regards,
Greeshma
Thank You!

Re: I can't activate the cache of my P822 controller
@Greeshma21, @BPSingh, @TVVJ I didn't use the P882 controller; I used another model, but encountered the same issue. HPE StoreOpen LTFS system configuration problem! The HBA driver does not support the required transfer size (512kb)This error may be corrected by an updated HBA driver. Please consult the documentation for further details
