Hi,

I like that someone responding to do some study and give me an answer to my query. A link to an installation guide simply doesn't serve any purpose.

However thanks for paying attention!

Hello there, as far as I know MSA 2060 is well supported in Oracle Linux.

Related to the KVM, it just depends if you're talking about standalone KVM hosts, or if several hosts are managed by OLVM manager(console), if that's the case, the storage changes to Storage Domain.

Check this out:

Storage

Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager uses a centralized storage system for virtual machine disk images, ISO files, and snapshots. You can use Network File System (NFS), Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI), or Fibre Channel Protocol (FCP) storage. You can also configure local storage attached directly to hosts.

https://docs.oracle.com/en/virtualization/oracle-linux-virtualization-manager/admin/admin-admin-tasks.html#storage-tasks

And is even easier if your OL version is 8.6 or higher as it automatically handles the multipath settings.

Hope this helps a little.

Best Regards.
