Hi all,
I've got an Apollo 4200 Gen9 (XL420 Gen9) with a 6.4TB PCIe accelerator card. The server is installed with Windows 2016 Standard and is showing the 6.4TB card as multiple disk drives (32 times) on Windows:
These drives also show up in Disk Manager as 32 individual drives, but with a capacity of 0 MB?
Does anyone know what I'm missing here, I've installed the latest available Gen9 SPP on the system?
Regards,
Martien

SolutionHi,
I think its more of a Microsoft issue rather than the hardware. Do you know what is the FW version on this drive?
The lastest we have is HPK3(F).
Thank You!

Re: PCIe NVME drive showing multiple times on Windows 2016
Hi,
Just check with the latest 9.1 SPP, HPK3 is installed:
Digging deeper shows it to be version HPK3(B). Updated it to version your suggested version, that seemed to work somehow.
Will doublecheck with another same system to be sure.

Re: PCIe NVME drive showing multiple times on Windows 2016
It needed both Windows updates AND the firmware update as a solution
