Does anybody else have the issue sometime when adding a baseline in Smart Update Manager it takes for ever doing the "Inventory in progress" phase ?
Is there a fix to speed up that phase or something I can do ?

Re: Smart Update Manager takes for ever doing inventory
Hi quesnl,
There may be multiple root cause for delay in completing the inventory. Please follow these causes and get it resolved. Please refer this document for more info.
Cause 1: SUM might not have system or network resources
Action: Do not deploy more than the 50 nodes at a time, or 10 VMware nodes at a time
Cause 2: Performing inventory on more than one baseline might use too many system resources
Action: Perform inventory on one SPP baseline at a time
Cause 3: SUM does not show any dependency and fails to install because SUM 8.1 does not support iLO downgrade
Action: Perform the downgrade outside of SUM. Extract iLO Smart Component to a directory and then uploadthe firmware binary file directly using the iLO interface.
