web console
i have secure web console, J3591A, i forgot the ip address of it becuase it was long time not use it.
does anyone know how to get the ip address on webconsole without reset it to factory set .

it is different, it is lan console , not web console which is a extenal small box, one port connect to console port, anothter port connect lan .
i get the ip infomation of web console by another mothed, now, i think i need reset to factory settings , becuase i also forgot the user name and password.

Since you dont know the user & the password, you must reset the webconsole into default factory set. On this process, you can configure the user, password & the IP for webconsole.

I suggest the following:
1) Educated guess, check your browser history.
2) check with networking department where I work you have to ask for an ip address, not just take one.

thanks a lot.
i don't the ip address of web console. but i know the subnet it has, so i connect it to my pc directly and set ip on that subnet for my pc, and then ping broadcast, it respones, so i know the ip of web console.
since i dont't know user /passwd either, so i have to reset it to factory set.
