Introducing the HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 and HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 servers
Meet the newest members of the worldโs most secure industry-standard server family. These servers are designed for simplicity, reliability, and affordability for SMBs, ROBO, and service providers.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is officially launching these two new servers, extending the worldโs most secure industry-standard server family (1) to meet the needs of small and midsized businesses, businesses with remote and branch offices, and service providers. These servers are based on the new Intelยฎ Xeonยฎ E-2100 series processors. The Intel Xeon E-2100 processors are the follow-on to the previous generation Intel Xeon E3 processor family and include multiple architectural enhancements for the performance and security capabilities needed to meet your growing demands. Each features up to 6 cores and 12 threads of compute muscle, along with faster clock speeds and other useful upgrades. This new processor incorporates Intelยฎ Software Guard Extensions (Intelยฎ SGX) to help protect against both hardware and software attacks for supported applications.
The HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 Server: a new superhero sidekick for every business
The HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 Server is a compact and dense 1U rackmount chassis, just 15 inches deep, so you can easily set one on a desk, behind the front counter, or even take it on the road with you in your car or truck. That makes it perfect for retail, transportation, and remote and branch office environments. We have packed a lot of potency into that small package, as it is fueled by up to six cores of professional-grade Intelยฎ Xeonยฎ E-2100 series processors, with available support for Intelยฎ Coreยฎ or Pentiumยฎ CPU options. Outstanding configuration flexibility caters to a wide variety of requirements at affordable price pointsโmaking it the ideal platform for growing businesses and service providers with space-constrained environments.
Easy-to-use iLO management tools help you deploy, manage, and troubleshoot servers, even if you have limited IT resources. And HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 servers now come with a three-year warranty for parts, labor, and on-site service.
The HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10: a tireless and trustworthy co-worker who always turns in great work
The HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 Server is an affordable tower server with the performance, security, and expansion capabilities that make it perfect for remote and branch offices and small to midsize businesses. HPE ProLiant ML30 servers are powered by up to six cores of Intelยฎ Xeonยฎ E-2100 series processors, and with Intelยฎ Coreยฎ or Pentiumยฎ CPUs to address a range of cost-conscious needs. This outstanding server works around the clock, with more reliability and hardware-enhanced security capabilities than a typical workstation or desktop. The ML30 is the lowest-cost 1P tower server in the ProLiant portfolio to offer the Silicon Root of Trust. A root of trust (RoT) is based on a hardware-validated boot process that ensures the system can only be started using code from an immutable source. This involves an anchor for the boot process rooted in hardware that cannot be updated or modified in any way.
The embedded HPE ProLiant iLO management tools also provide you with enhanced remote server functions, remote monitoring, and online access to your IT and support status. These simple yet powerful capabilities improve uptime and enable advanced IT at remote and branch offices, while reducing support and travel costs. Plus - The option of a dedicated iLO port and an M.2 socket means you can dedicate more bandwidth for network functions vital to your business, while achieving higher network throughput. And HPEโs flex slot power supplies reduce the server size, letting you share spares across multiple server platforms.
HPE Rapid Setup Software
Now that you know about some the great features and benefits of these new servers, you might be contemplating running your business on them. The HPE Rapid Setup Software is a simple, guided process for consistent system installation, setup, and configuration. The software is loaded on a USB drive so you can install server operating systems (OS) and virtualization software. You just insert the USB drive into an internal or external USB port, and turn on your server to boot from the USB key. Not only is it simple to use, getting your new servers running and productive is also fast โ so utterly fast that it can shorten deployment time by up to 50%, as tested and validated by one of HPEโs partners.
