New for HPE InfoSight for Servers: Preview InfoSight capabilities with Active Health System logs
Want to preview HPE InfoSight features before connecting your server? Now you can. HPE InfoSight for Servers now has the ability to let you preview InfoSight capabilities and analyze Active Health System logs before ever onboarding a server.
HPE InfoSight is the industryโs most advanced AIOps solution that transforms the way data center infrastructure is managed and supported. HPE InfoSight enables you to move beyond a break-fix-repeat mentality by allowing you to deliver AI-powered autonomous operations that ensure your environment is always-on, always-fast, and always-agile.
Since its introduction on HPE servers, HPE InfoSight has helped customers simplify infrastructure operations and maximize server up-timeโby applying the real-world knowledge of hundreds of thousands of servers and the in-depth expertise of support and product teams to predict and prevent problems before they can adversely affect business operations.
Hereโs the good news: With the latest release, you can now preview HPE InfoSightโwithout connecting your server. This means you can preview some of the great capabilities that many customers are already taking advantage of.
What you see when previewing HPE InfoSight for Servers capabilities
HPE InfoSight for Servers combines the cloud-based machine learning of HPE InfoSight with the health and performance monitoring of Active Health System (AHS) plus HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) to transform how businesses monitor, manage, support and secure server infrastructure.
With the latest release, HPE InfoSight enables you to preview HPE InfoSight for Servers capabilities before ever onboarding servers. This allows you to upload and analyze AHS logs using the โAnalyze Logsโ capability. Once you upload an AHS log, the file is parsed and its content is visualized to include the following information: Overview, Event Logs, Wellness Alerts (if any), Server Hardware Configuration, Firmware, and Drivers. Hereโs a screen shot that shows HPE InfoSight for Servers logs.
If a wellness alert is identified while analyzing the AHS logs, you can also choose to manually create a support case for the issue through HPE InfoSight. Creation of support cases is only made possible if the server from which the AHS log was generated is covered under a valid warranty/support contract.
Onboard your servers take advantage of HPE InfoSight for Servers full capabilities
The ability to analyze AHS logs provides just a preview of how HPE InfoSight can enhance server troubleshooting. To use HPE InfoSight fully across your environmentโand to ensure logs are automatically collected and made available to support, please register your servers onto HPE InfoSight.
