Smart Update Manager 10.7.0 unable to login iLO
Greetings,
The Localhost node keeps giving me the "Incorrect iLO credentials" error. I have tried resetting the password and creating a new user but that does not seem to work.
I am able to log in to the iLO portal with the password.
How do i fix this?

Re: Smart Update Manager 10.7.0 unable to login iLO
Hi.
Please let us know the server model. Is this local user or AD?

Re: Smart Update Manager 10.7.0 unable to login iLO
Same issue here.
"ProLiant XL450 Gen10" and also on all of our "ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Plus"
Starting HPSUM locally on the server using a domain-admin-account. Selecting "Localhost Guided Update". Entering the ILO credentials for the local ILO-administrator. Using MS Edge on Win2022 Datacenter.
All systems with ILO 5 and iLO Firmware version 2.81 Mar 07 2023.
Any inputs to solve this troubles?

Re: Smart Update Manager 10.7.0 unable to login iLO
Hello @AlFu
Give a try to below troubleshooting steps,
Firstly I would say update the SUM
- Confirm that iLO 5 firmware version 2.81 is fully compatible with SUM 10.7.0. Sometimes, specific firmware versions can have known issues with SUM
- While you are using MS Edge, try accessing SUM with other browsers like Google Chrome or Firefox.
- Clear any saved credentials in your browser or SUM to ensure it's not trying to use outdated or incorrect information.
- Check iLO User Settings, confirm that the user you are using in SUM has appropriate access rights and check if the user is locked out or has failed login attempts that might have triggered security settings.
I hope it helps!. Let me know

Thanks for your hints, Mr_Techie.
In the meanwhile the troubles are solved. Clearing the browser cache did it.
