NAS 1000s and Windows 2000 Server SP4
Hi
I read in a document that HP recommends customers to re-enable use of Windowsupdate on their NAS servers running Storage versions of Windows. However, they say that you should contact HP support before installing any service packs.
We have a NAS 1000s 640MB server.
I was wondering if anyone have tried to apply Windows 2000 SP4 on it?
Thanks.
/Thomas O

Re: NAS 1000s and Windows 2000 Server SP4
Hi Thomas
We have applied SP4 to a NAS 1000S 320 GB - seemed to go on without any complaints.
Wish we could get the upgrade to Storage Server 2003 though (being as w2k is out of suppport)

Hi
Thanks for your input. I think I will also go ahead and do the upgrade to SP4.
And yes, I would really like to be able to upgrade to 2003 Storage Server.
