5GB Travan Error 05-0E-23-01-051E
This used to work just fine. The only thing that's changed is I did try to upgrade my machine to XP. I had deleted CBII and drive prior to upgrading. Ended up going back to Win 98. CBII sees the drive. It's accessing the drive has you can hear it reading the tape but then the error occurs.

Re: 5GB Travan Error 05-0E-23-01-051E
Try adding switches to the Epat driver
Right-click My Computer icon and select Properties.
Select the device manager.
Double-click the SCSI controllers.
Double-click the EPAT Shuttle driver.
Under the Settings tab there is an Adapter Settings path.
Try adding combinations of the following switches:
/de - Disable EPP check.
/db - Disable EPPBIOS.
/dp - Skip PS/2 DMA Arbitration disable.
/di - Disable interrupt mode.
/ni - Skip chipset initialization.
/sf - Suppress fast mode detection.
Example: /W95 /de /db /dp

Re: 5GB Travan Error 05-0E-23-01-051E
-Check firmware, upgrade firmware to the latest revision. The 5gb-firmware upgrade can be found on the Customer Care Web site by following the links to the 5gb drive and then selecting the Software and Drivers tab.
