Colorado T-1000

Hello John,
Working with a previously setup tape backup on a T-1000. There are 2 options-Full and Modified backup. I can't obtain any information about what each one is actually backing up. Are they user specific or standard for the program? I'd appreciate any help you can offer me. Thank you.

What's the application ?

usually a full backup is everything on your system, including registry settings etc.

Some applications let you create a disaster recovery backup, sometimes on tape or sometimes with additional media (such as floppy etc)

A modified (also known as incremental or differential)
only saves the few files on your system which are new or have been changed since the last back up.
Incremental backs up any files that have changed or been created since the most recent Full or Incremental backup. The differential backs up all files that have changed or been created since the most recent Full backup.
