Dat Autolaoder LDR HW error
We have a Compaq 12/24GB Dat Autoloader PN 122s71001. Upon inserting the magazine with a cleaning tape in slot 8 we received the following msg - LDR HW error m3s05s13 04132252
We were unable to do any additional functions and could not eject the magazine.
Fortunately we had a spare Dat autoloader and replaced it in our server and it's working fine.
Our problem - we now have a magazine with a cleaning cartridge stuck in the original dat autoloader and can find no documentation about how to manually remove it.
It is no longer under warranty. We did power it up on another server but still get the same LDR HW error. We have attempted to dismantle the unit but still could not remove the magazine. Does anyone know of documentation available to describe this dismantling procedure or can someone shed some light on how to do this?
Thanks
Mike Katz
