Data Protector Express error 59

I installed a DPX client on a Linux machine and I received:

Data Protector Express setup received error '59:Service not found while attempting to start the service.

What could be the problem? Where can I find the log of this error?

Please add the
omni 5555/tcp # DATA-PROTECTOR

in the /etc/services file.

This is DPX not DP and I need to run the daemon not via inetd.

I discovered that the initscript /etc/init.d/DPXpress don't find the executables. I tried to start the daemon manually and it succeeded in.

I have done same as you wrote : I started the daemon manually and it didn't succeeded... where is the mistake? How can I fix it?
