Data Protector Express SSE CPU loop when attempting to view Admin properties

I have 2 ML110G5 servers with 4GB memory running RHEL 5.1 with DW026A tape drives using DPX SSE.

I both cases I have renamed the admin user to Administrator (keeps it consistent with the Windows version)

On one server, when I try to view the Security => Administrator properties they are displayed within a second. On the other server, the dplingad process starts using more and more memory and then start using more and more CPU until it basically locks the system. It didn't appear to make any progress after leaving it for several hours.

When this happens, some of the files in the database directory are having their modified timestamp updated.

The only solution I can think of is to destroy the database and import all my existing tapes (fortunately this is a fairly new server, so there are only about a dozen tapes)

Are there any database verification/repair utilities? Or any other solutions?
