Data Protector Firewall Issues.

We have been trying to import a server that is outside of a firewall to Data Protector 5.5.
The server does not reside on our domain, it is part of a WorkGroup. We can ping the server from the backup server. We can also see that the client is installed when we telnet (servername) 5555. We tried opening all ports but the import still failed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I believe that Data Protector clients must be on the same domain. They can be behind a firewall but from what I have read the same domain is mandatory.
