eml103e, fc, mtx and linux

This is quite important so I'm posting it in this section of the forum...

I need to know if mtx can be used to load the tapes of an eml103e tape library. I can't believe that even hp didn't just give a try.

Yes mtx has been used successfully with the EML libraries of various sizes but since it isn't part of any officially supported backup applications you won't find it on any support lists.
