Error 1401: Alert - Please insert compatible media

We are using Data protector Express

Backup Job   Home\Admin\Backup Specific Tape Device   DWGDOMAIN\Devices\HP Ultrium 2-SCSI (Serial Number HU10948H0C)

  Description

    Data Protector Express is unable to find usable media. Please insert media into the loader or stand alone device which is compatible with the job options. If this is a restore or verify job, make sure that the versions you selected reside on the media available to the device or autoloader.

Please suggest me solution

Please format the media from your DPX software.
As you have not formatted the media, backup software is not recognizing the media.
