ESL G3 tape library Power Supply

Hi. Im working with a ESL G3 Tape Library with 2 Power Supply Units (PSUs).

My Power Supply LEDs are OK (AC, DC, Fault= Green, Green, Off). However my LMC software is generating a ticket for 1 PSU titled (Power Supply Failure). The ticket is self resolved with 10, 15 sec. Every day 7,8 such tickets are created and self resolved.

When the ticket is created and till it is self resolved, the PSU continues normal operation and fault LED also remains off. However one of its two fans shows higher speed compared to the rest of the fans in the LMC. The PSU board temperature is also reported to be higher than the threshold. The ambient room environment is about 20 Celsius and the other PSU is also normally performing in the same environment. The LMC also shows that fan having 0 RPM for some instances however the fan is verified to be working at all instants.

Can anyone please guide what to do in such a situation

5091:: Power Supply of power subsystem#2 in module 1 has failed

While checking status, library power management has determined by sensing that power supply has failed (IEX Power Supply AC failure)

If there are multiple PSU's. Swap the PSU to a diff slot. This requires downtime. So take necessary action before trying this option. Post swap, monitor the unit for any errors. If the error follows the PSU, then we must replace the PSU. If the error is reported on the newly inserted PSU. Then this must be due to faulty LMC as we know that the PSU is healthy. Hope this answers the query.
