The Driver for MSL6480 has already been installed on my Ubuntu, MSL6480 was linked to my Ubuntu using FC, after typing cat /proc/scsi/scsi, the result showed my MSL6480 was installed correctly, now I want to use command line to manage my tape library, but when I use mt command, it always told me "permission denied", so what should I do?

SolutionHello @oElixon ,
The supported linux distributions are RHEL and SLES. Please refer to the StoreEver Compatibility Matrix for details. Additionally, diagnostic utility Library and Tape tools too is supported only with these two versions.
The issue reported looks to be user/group related. An instance of as similar issue from RHEL is here https://access.redhat.com/discussions/1990983 .
I work at HPE
