HP 6400/2000DC

I have a external SCSI HP 6400/2000DC dat drive and no SCSI card or SCSI cable. I was looking for a manual but could not find one on the HP site? I am sure I can find a SCSI card and connector cable, but wanted to know the spec's on this device. Can you help?

Re: HP 6400/2000DC

Read the part number is it something like C1521-xxxx ??

The Surestore 2000 data compressed external drive has those great big 50 pin low density connectors on the back. One for the cable and another that needs to be terminated or for daisy chaining.

Most modern SCSI cards can deal with these devices. Even the old Adaptec 1510/1540 are up to the job.

Your cable requirement obviously depends on what connector is on the back of the SCSI card.
