HP colorado backup II ver.8.0 software(for win95 system)
Sometime ago I started to get unexplained error messages when running above software.I decided to uninstall & then reinstall the software. However,I'm caught in an install loop.Whenever I try to run the setup program I get this message:"Setup has detected a recent uninstallation that requires the system to reboot to finish.Choose yes to reboot now.Choosing no will exit setup."But when I reboot & try & run setup again,I get exactly the same message.I've followed the uninstall instructions from the HP support site to the letter. The drive is a HP colorado 8GB internal travan drive. Can someone help me please?

Re: HP colorado backup II ver.8.0 software(for win95 system)
If I correctly recall, I had a similar problem. I selected "yes" for reboot (leaving the CD in the drive). Following reboot, the software finished installing. P.S. If you migrate to Windows XP, you might as well trash the drive because HP or Windows does not provide XP drivers for our colorado tape drives.
