HP StorageWorks 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader error 90:63

Good day! first of all, sorry for my english
I'm working with HP StorageWorks 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader and everything is ok, only whatever I do with slot 8: load, format, the result is the same: Cannot load exchanger medium ( Incorrect function. )
I tried to exchange cartridge, reboot autoloader, but whatever, only slot 8 errors. While working with control panel of autoloader, it shows me that slot 8 is full, I can remove tape. so please help me to understand the reason of this error so I could backup on tape in slot 8

Hi Mikhail,

This error can be caused by the mailslot. Check if the mailslot is enabled on your autoloader. It may have been turned on after the autoloader was added to Data Protector.

If the mailslot is enabled then Data Protector will no longer have access to slot 8. It will only have access up to slot 7 as one slot is reserved as the mailslot.

Either turn off the mailslot and you should then be able to use slot 8 within Data Protector or delete slot 8 from the library within Data Protector.

As usual, everything turned out to be simple/ I disable mailslot, rescan all slots and 8th slot now is available.
