HPE Library and Tape Tools legacy versions

Hello, I'm looking to obtain a copy of HPE Library and Tape Tools 4.18 for use with a DAT 72 USB drive (DW027A) on Windows.

I have tried using the earliest version of HPE L&TT you have available for Windows on the Support Centre (Version 4.28), but as the help within this version states; support for DAT drives (including the DAT 72) was dropped in L&TT 4.18.

I know that this device is way out of it's product support window, especially since it has probably been unsupported since HPE was spun off from HP in 2015, but I have been unable to obtain earlier versions of the software from elsewhere on the internet and my product originally shipped without the Tape Tools software on disc: The driver & software disc that shipped with the DAT 72 USB drive simply directs you to download the latest version from the now dufunct original HP support portal.

I appreciate that HPE cannot support old products, but I see that you still have version 4.18 of L&TT available for the OpenVMS OS, if there someone on the dev team still has the Windows executable of this version available I would really appreciate a copy, even in an unofficial capacity via dropbox / ftp or the like and I would be happy to use the software at my own risk without any responsibility on HPE's part.

also LTT was on the tools unpluged disk whicj was inrernal HPE

utility disk I have one from Novenber 2016 you will need an erlier

one for you version.

Due to restrictions i am unable to access the FTP. Kindly check if we can try any other possibilites. In the meantime, i will see if i can get a FTP for the upload.

The google drive link I shared doesn't support FTP and I don't currently have access to an FTP server I can use for this.

If simply dropping the file into the google drive folder isn't something you can do, would dropbox be any better?
Or is v4.18 small enough to zip up and send as an email attachment?

Not sure what your limitations are, please let me know if there are other ways we can proceed other than FTP.

I can confirm that I was able to successfully download and install v4.18 of L&TT.
