LTO Ultrium-1 driver problem
"The device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.(Code 31)"
I installed the latest driver that is version 1.0.3.1 but nothing is changed.

Can you install HP Library & Tape Tools and see if it discovers the drive successfully? If so, run the device connectivity test.
LTT does not need the tape driver (it uses the native NT miniport SCSI interface).

That may imply something specific in the windows OS, or perhaps with the HBA.
I looked up the error on the MS site, but it provide little info other than recommending to update the driver.

What HBA do you have the drive attached to?
