MSL3040 with Netbackup appliance 5250 using SAS
All,
Planning replace MSL4048 (FC) with MSL 3040 (SAS) using Netabckup appliance 5250 with SAS. Any cavet to watch out? Our current FC we get 8Gb/s and hoping to get 12Gb/s with new SAS, correct?
Thanks

Re: MSL3040 with Netbackup appliance 5250 using SAS
Hello @Santha1012,
In MSL 3040, I think disk write performance is 8gb/s FC, and 6gb/s SAS.
Please find the detailed product information in this link - https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00038050en_us&page=GUID-798011C1-B4A4-4AD0-9992-866EFE17DA76.html

Hello @Santha1012,
Yes. It is 12gb/s SAS in LTO 9 Ultrium 45000. Here is the right document link for you - https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a00026511enw.pdf?jumpid=in_pdp-psnow-qs
