we use 200/400 media
it see them in dp 5.5 as ultirium I 100 gb within the default ultirium pool
how to change the pool to use Ultrium 2 media
(not appear in the list)

Verify file /opt/omni/scsitab and search in "HP OpenView Storage Data Protector
Administrator├в s Guide" for "scsitab".

also when edit the scsitab file ifound ultrium 2 but why when trying to create new pool i see lto ultrium,

Media size has nothing to do with scsitab.
As mentioned in a previous reply, there is only one LTO media class in DP. It is possible to change the default size by editing the global option file but, it is not neccessary. The default size is only used for some statistics, DP always write to end of media.

You can force the size of the tape in a format. just tell it it is 400gb, when formatting a tape into your pool. It will then happily say that it has 400 gb space left.
