ow i can eject tape manually
my problem for HP StorageWorks DLT 40/80 GB Tape Drive , how i can eject tape manually because it not eject by software .
please if anyone have any solution .

Often, holding in the eject button on the front of the tape drive will do it.
In some cases, you have to turn the drive over and manually turn the release mechanism provided for times like these.

You car rewint the tape into the cartridge using a 1 point phillips screw driver. You must insert the srcewdriver into the holw in the bottom panel. it is located at the front half of the panel in the centre.
Then open the solenoid on top and to the right. While holding this open you can lift the front flap and release the tape.
Be sure all the tape is rewound before doing this. or speak to
