Preferred Backup Software

I have an HP tape backup unit, C1555D, and I am searching for a reasonably priced good backup software package to run on Micosoft Enterprise 2003/Standard server. I would appreciate a recommendation or source of reference.

Hey Lawrence

Their are a few programs that are used quite frequently:

Tapeware
Veritas Backup Exec
CA Arcserv

all three of these are excellent programs that will give you great performance.
NT backup can also still be used.

Their are free trial versions of these software programs downloadable from the net to see which one works best for you.
As a reminder, if you are going to use a thrid party software program other than NT backup, ensure that you go into the services menu and disable removable storage and you will also want to ensure that the driver for the software is on the drive and not the HP driver.
