Problem when configuring Dlt 20/700 on San

When i install the Dlt 20/700 (FW 2.20.00) on Nt Enterprise 4.0 Sp 6a in the control panel on the scsi adapter i don't see the dlt's driver but i see only the bridge(fc 4/1 FW 3.02 2004h) connected on the qlogic 2200 66 Mhz Adapter (driver 7.05.05).

Re: Problem when configuring Dlt 20/700 on San

FYI, a new version of the diagnostics came out just last week. See the following:

The SAN Solution Installation Guide and all other manuals are available at the following web page:

Good luck!
Make a great day!

Allesandro,

Try logging on to the 4/1 bridge via the network or serial connection and check if the bridge sees the drives and controller of the 20/700. If not, you need to re-check the SCSI config of the library. If the bridge is ablr to see the drives, make sure you are using the default settings for the 4/1 bridge.

HBA drivers are also a hot item in fibrechannel troubleshooting.

Good luck there !

Caliban.
