Read/Write Issues with HP Stoage DAT72 USB Tape drive
Hi,
I have been having few issues writng the data on to the the USB tape drives. The Read/Write test uitliy always failing when i set the data transfer limit is more than 4MB.
Can you let us know pls, if there is any buffer size limit underneath of the drivers?
Even the similar issues found with our applcation that uses the Window Tape api for writing the data. when our applicatons writes the chunk of 20MB at a time, the data will not be written as expected.
Note: This issue will not be seen with SCSI tape drives.
Environment:
Windows 2003 R2
Hewlett Packard DAT72 USB drive
HP DAT 72 Data Cartridge
Please let me know if you need any further information.
Thanks,
Gouse
