Surestore DLT VS80 won't eject

I have a Surestore DLT VS80 that won't eject the tape. It gets power because it gets warm when plugged in. Windows does not recognize the drive no matter how I configure the SCSI cable and Windows does recognize the SCSI card.

Can anyone help?

Try connecting only the power cable to the drive and do not connect the scsi cable
and then try ejecting the tape
(It might help in getting the tape ejected)

Does the SCSI card gets detected in the bios?

Well, I tried that and it didn't work. The card is detected in bios. Are there any other ideas out there?
