T3000 colorado tape drive
I took the T3000 tape drive from a WIN95 computer and installed it into a Win98 computer. The 95 machine had a card that a cable from the tape drive connected to via cable. The Win98 computer only has PCI slots so I can not use the card. Do I need to purchase another card(what kind of card is it) or can I connect via the floppy drive. I'm having a problem locating the right drivers & software for the Win98 version for this tape drive.

Re: T3000 colorado tape drive
Read the following:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=lpg10042&locale=en_US&taskId=8414&taskName=upgrade+%26+migrate&prodSeriesId=63952&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesName=hp+colorado+t3000+tape+drive&docId=9641
It looks like you can install it as a floppy and use the MSBACKUP software.
Good luck.
