Tapeware: how to restore a file from backup

Hello.

We want to restore one file from the backup, but without overwriting the current file, because other users are working with it.

We want to restore the old file in order to browse it before the changes we have made, but we do not want to place it in the original directory.

Is it possible to change the destination folder?

Thank you very much.

Well, I'll take a stab...

From the Tapeware site faq:

Can I restore data to another location?
To restore data to another location, within the restore job selections tab, click on the directory or file you want restored to a different location and hold the mouse button down. Drag the object to the new target location. To use the keyboard, use Control-C to copy the object and Control-V to move the object to its new location.
If the target directory is not displayed since it has not been backed up, use the right mouse button on the object, select move, A dialog box will appear with a browse button. Select browse to find the target directory.

They also appear to have a fair amount of Technical docs and online support -

I forgot to add -

frecover -xFi /path/to/filename -f /dev/rmt/#m

does it for an fbackup tape.

Thank you very much.

I only backup one folder, and I did not find the other folders.

But with the right button and Move, I see the whole PC.
