TR20 & Critical Tape Alerts

Our TR20 keeps giving us Tape Alerts, even with brand new tapes. We've cleaned the drive.

Does anyone have any suggestions? The backup isn't finishing.

(Full backups fail, but incremental work)

Tape head alignment. Get it serviced.

I thought that the alignment was controlled by the tape, not the drive, on Travan units.
