Internal 5gb Travan should work ok on Win 2000 advance server, all you need is to install backup software that would support Servers

first Download a trial version of Tapeware, then try it too see if it would work ok on your system.

Personally I wouldn't attempt to put this drive in a 2000 server. It has very little capacity by today's standards,It's obsolete, has reached the end of its support life and if you ever had to restore anything and the drive was dead you wouldn't have many options except a data recovery company. The software will cost more than the drive is worth at this point.
