Ultrium 920 (EH903A) & Adaptec SCSI ultra 320 29320LPE
I am trying to install an Ultrium 920 (EH903A) on my windows 2003 server with an Adaptec SCSI ultra 320, 29320LPE card. Hp LTT tool says everything is OK, no problems but when I back up I get a time out error message \Device\Scsi\adpu3201 and the backup fails.
I have downloaded new drivers but still the same problem.
Is this combination OK? Do I need a terminator on this model of Ultrium?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you will only need a terminator if the drive its internal so the cable should have a terminator.
If the drive its external then you need to plug the SCSI cable on the botton port of the drive check the auto termination LED on the back of the drive should be solid green.
