Utrium 3280 SAS Bad Parameter issue
Hey,
My SAS tape drive (Storageworks Utrium 3280 SAS) does not read the cartridges any more. It drops an error "Drive unavailable, Bad Parameter"
Looks like the SAS card and the tape drive both have the latest drivers installed.
I use W10 Pro op system.
Anyone idea how to solve this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Gabe

Re: Utrium 3280 SAS Bad Parameter issue
Hello G_Goodwell
Greetings...!!
If you have been using this drive for a while, did you try cleaning the drive using a cleaning tape ? If not, try using a cleaning media and then test it. Also you can run the Library and Tape Tools diags to check the drive status.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any further queries.
